At Nesting we realise that there is a need for safe, unique, and locally made soft toys in South Africa. In early 2017, our founder Lucinda wanted a baby-safe, special and Proudly South African toy for her niece Siena to take back to the UK and our flagship SA Giraffe was born! Since then, our giraffes have travelled all over South Africa and the world to many happy customers. Our SA Giraffes are available in almost every colour of the rainbow, with a South African Flag and colourful ribbon taglets.
In 2020, we expanded to include the Nesting Naturals Range of soft toys. Lucinda’s background in Nature Conservation, sustainability, and design enabled our vision to create a South African range of organic, eco-friendly and natural, soft toys come true!
Perfect for eco-conscious parents, hypoallergenic, toxin-free and biodegradable. The Naturals Range is handmade with organic hemp and cotton linen, 100% cotton thread and is stuffed with pure wool fibres. Our range currently includes a Naturals Giraffe and heirloom Wild Dog and Riverine Rabbit. Our heirloom dog and rabbit feature hand embroidered details and have optional custom designed organic clothing too.
Designed and developed for babies, safe from birth, they are the perfect companion to grow with your child and loved by both children and adults. Our soft toys are designed for little hands, they aid in sensory, visual and tactile development and play, our giraffes are great for teething too. They are so much more than just soft toys!
