Baba Fishees
Babafishees was started 2 years ago by Sarah Hubbard, based out of Woodstock, Cape Town. The brand is all about creating work opportunities, supporting local South African businesses and sourcing locally. Our cottons are spun in Durban and Cape Town and we ship both locally and recently internationally. We have a online shop and sell through resellers both online and with physical shops.
We are crazy mad about design, about the fusion of what’s happening socially reflecting into our mood boards. We are relentless about the pursuit of value for mums and can’t wait until the cost of printing becomes more competitive. We work with lovely ladies that work in their own homes and as a result are able to pay them more than if that worked in a factory. We are passionate about quality and strive to improve upon what we do.
Ultimately we see what we do as a symbiotic relationship with all Our stakeholders. We believe that clothing plays an important role not just in clothing children and keeping them warm, but memorable prints also enable recall of precious memories that were hope will stay with mums.
