BabyRumi was born during our national lockdown as a hobby to keep myself occupied after work. I am a healthcare worker therefore I needed to challenge myself with something completely different. Little did I know it would be so popular once I started showing off these little animals on social media. The word BabyRumi stems from Amigurumi which is a Japanese term used for crocheting small toys. 

I only use eco cotton mediums and untreated wood rings to ensure the best quality and safety for your little ones. I do not opt for safety eyes as these can be harmful if swallowed. Therefore I hand embroid all the eyes and noses. All items are washable. 

This is the perfect stocking filler for any baby shower gift. Each item is also customizable. Any colour or any animal request is always welcomed. Currently, BabyRumi.za is only instagram based and orders are accepted via a direct message.
